Used for dashboard totals, net worth, and budgets. Changing this doesn't retroactively convert past transactions.

Rate = how many units of your base currency (IDR) equal 1 unit of that currency. Live-priced currencies (USD, SGD, EUR, etc.) refresh automatically once a day from market rates whenever anyone opens the dashboard — each transaction converts using the rate for its own date, not today's rate. You can also track physical gold this way — add a custom currency like "GOLD" priced per gram (its sell rate today), then create a Gold account in Accounts and enter grams held as the balance; since gold has no live source here, it stays manual and only updates when you edit it below.

Add subcategories for more detailed tracking, e.g. Transportation → Fuel, Parking, Public Transit.

Tag the intentbehind a transaction — Work, Date, Traktir, Family — independent of its category. E.g. two "Transportation" expenses can differ by label: one for Work, one for a Date. Shows up as a breakdown on the Dashboard.

Shortcuts for transactions you log often — e.g. Tiar + Transportation shows "Omprengan" and "KRL" buttons in Add Transaction, each pre-filling a formula like 9200+15000. Mark one as a Fast Key to also show it as a one-tap dashboard shortcut.
